Privacy notice
What this reference website processes when you browse, search locally, download a resource or email the publisher.
This notice describes the website supplied for crestcon.co.uk, operated by Serallo Domains Ltd. Contact tom@serallo.co.uk with a privacy question. This edition of the notice was prepared on 2 November 2026.
Browsing the website
The application does not provide user accounts, message forms, comments, advertising, analytics tags or marketing pixels. It does not set application session cookies or use browser storage to build a visitor profile. Fonts, styles and scripts are served locally. External videos and social widgets are not embedded.
Normal hosting infrastructure may process request information such as an IP address, requested address, time, response status, browser identification and referring address. This can appear in web-server or security logs used to operate the service, diagnose failures and investigate misuse. A page request and its network metadata are inherently visible to the hosting system. The application does not turn these into a marketing database.
The exact hosting log retention period depends on the server configuration. No unverified fixed retention period or hosting location is promised here. Contact the publisher if you need details of the deployed hosting arrangements or a particular record.
Finding and downloading content
The on-page search filter runs in your browser. Typing into it does not send the search text to an external search service or store it in browser storage. Opening a result is an ordinary page request. A URL entered directly with search parameters can appear in normal request logs, so do not put confidential information into a website address.
Printable worksheets and downloads do not submit their contents to this website. If you edit a downloaded file or save a printout, you control that copy. Use your own appropriate storage arrangements for any business-sensitive material you subsequently add to it.
Emailing the publisher
If you choose to email us, the publisher and the relevant email services process your address and the contents of your message to receive and deal with the enquiry. This is separate from browsing the site. Include only what is needed for your question or correction.
Messages may need to be retained while an enquiry is active or to keep a relevant record of a correction. The website has no automated email-retention or deletion system, and this notice does not invent a fixed period. Please ask about a specific message if you want to understand how it is being handled.
External links
Links to source documents, authors, standards and event information take you to independently operated websites. Those services have their own privacy practices. Crestcon does not control their cookies, request logging, changes of content or availability. Opening a source is optional; the site's own navigation and text do not require third-party embeds.
Why information is processed
The publisher relies on legitimate interests to operate and secure this reference website, diagnose faults, respond to enquiries you choose to send and maintain a proportionate record of corrections. Those interests must be balanced against the effect on the people whose information is involved. This is not a basis for adding advertising, visitor profiling or an unrelated mailing list to the service described here.
Hosting and email providers may process the relevant information to supply those services. Information may also need to be disclosed where a legal obligation requires it. The publication does not sell visitor information. Contact the publisher for details of a particular provider, retention arrangement or international transfer; this notice does not assert a deployment location that has not been verified.
Questions and requests
Contact tom@serallo.co.uk to ask about information relating to you, request access or correction, or raise a concern. Depending on the circumstances, you may also request deletion or restriction of processing, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights have conditions and exceptions; the publisher will consider the request in its actual context. The site does not make automated decisions about individuals or profile visitors.
Describe the relevant interaction without sending passwords or unnecessary identity documents. The publisher can then establish what information exists and what response is appropriate. You can also raise a data-protection concern with the Information Commissioner's Office. The ICO's right-to-be-informed guidance explains the information a privacy notice should provide.
If new features change how the website processes information, this notice should be updated to describe those actual changes before they are introduced.
